Procedures of inserting the sample holder

Inserting the sample holder
To avoid the clashes of sample holders, when you insert the sample holder please follow the procedures:
(1) All cameras have been RETRACTED
(2) All apertures are OPEN
(3) Sample stage has been NEUTRALIZED
(4) Insert the sample holder follows the diagram below
(5) When the vacuum value drops below 4 x 5^-5 Pa
(6) Turn on the BEAM button

Extracting the sample holder
To avoid the clashes of sample holders, when you extract the sample holder please follow the procedures:
(1) BEAM button is OFF
(2) All cameras have been RETRACTED
(3) All apertures are OPEN
(4) Sample stage has been NEUTRALIZED
(5) Set all the parameters back to the default
TEM mode: MAG x 40K, TEM-S
STEM mode: MAG x 1.0M, camera length = 8cm, probe size = 8C, detector = NONE
(6) Remove the sample holder according to the following diagram below.
